If I destroy a block and immediately save and reload the block will be back but I will still have the picked-up block in my inventory. Similarly if I place a block, save, and reload the block usually will no longer be there and it will no longer be in my inventory. I have no idea what is causing this and it is making it nearly impossible for me to play anymore.
