My issue is that even though the version is past 1.5 I cannot left click to quickly distribute items into say a crafting table, it always goes super slow and only adds one item at a time, it's really upsetting because all I see are videos of people using the auto distribute left click feature y

All I have read is that holding left click and dragging will equally distribute the item into the set number of slots. for example if I have 30 cobblestone and want to put it into three slots I can hold left click, quickly drag to fill the three slots, then have 10 in each of the three slots.
