What this means is that things like OpenGL which are packedged with your graphics drivers are not available to you. The Default Windows drivers are the only thing that even let the monitor currently receive an image. Beyond that your hardware is too old for Windows 10

#1944 [21:59] <nightwork> I have been fighting with trying to set up a minecraft server for days. Something is going wrong. I was running on on the same computer hardware a year ago. But now I can not get it to work. So here are the details.
#1945 [22:00] <nightwork> I have a quadcore 2.3ghz cpu with 2gigs of ram (I know it is on the low end), I first tried gentoo linux and had problems. the server would basically let people connect for a short time and then kick them off. This makes me think my port forwarding stuff is okay otherwise they could not connect at all.
#1946 [22:00] <nightwork> I fought with it on gentoo for two days, reinstalled gentoo, change from icetea java to oracle java no luck.
#1947 [22:01] <nightwork> I decided to try installing ubuntu and test that out. That worked a little better for a bit. I had it running and my two friends could join for a bit and then they would get kicked out. Timed out, or java exceptions.
#1948 [22:03] <nightwork> while the server was running I started the debuging /debug start. And that started showing that the server was giving warnings. "something taking too long" root.save, root.levels, root. world root
#1949 [22:03] <nightwork> I switched the ubuntu to use oracle java and that didnt help
#1950 [22:03] <nightwork> I tried running minecraft 1.8.8 stable and the snapshot
#1951 [22:04] <nightwork> I have a minecraft server runnig on my windows box now to see if my friend can connect ot it. It is running, windows firewall is off, and the port is forarded, but he cant see the server and he cant ping my wan ip
#1952 [22:05] <GreyVulpine> "Taking too long" is indicative of the server not being able to keep up. Specs of the server not up to snuff? Timed out, may be pointing to a network issue of some sort, how's the upload speed of the internet connection?

After 4 days of chasing problems in all the wrong places I think I figured it out. It is so dumb in fact that I didnt check it.
